Tanks for your reply. I created a new empty project and the result when trying to compile it was the following:

Makefile:780: recipe for target ‘main.o’ failed
make: *** [main.o] Error 1
11:00:34: The process “/usr/bin/make” exited with code 2.
Error while building/deploying project emptytest (kit: Toradex Qt Embedded)
When executing step “Make”
11:00:34: Elapsed time: 00:02.
