We have a customer whose module does not boot - it has a kernel panic. The module is claimed to have been flashed from recovery mode. The log is displayed below. Any hints on what may be the cause?

Hi Leo

The Kernel cannot execute init, the rootfs seems to be corrupt.

I guess something went wrong with the update when the rootfs got flashed.
I would simple execute the update process again. As there is a running U-Boot
know it need not be made through recovery mode.

Thank you very much.

The customer already tried to re-download the image from the Toradex website, generate a new SD card and re-flash the module.

I will ask him to send the module to our office for further investigation, and will follow your advice to make sure no steps were skip by him.
