Adding GSM support Colibri iMX6ULL wifi

Hello,

I am planning to design baseboard for Colibri imx6ULL Wi-fi / Bluetooth

The baseboard will have a GSM module so that I can bridge Wi-fi & GSM connection and offer nearby people a hot spot for internet connection.

Would Colibri iMX6ULL Wi-fi / Bluetooth module be suitable for this task?
When can we purchase the module?

Yes, that’s a quite typical IoT gateway type use case. We actually blank to include regular hostapd sort on the upcoming 2.8b1 Q4 release. Please note that Bluetooth is also supported starting with that same upcoming release.

When can we purchase the module?

Initial samples should be ready to ship shortly.

We didn’t define the exact date of availability. It will be in the next few weeks. It might still be in December but can also be January.
