Hi,
How to install “regular vorbisdec” in apalis T30?
As you know i have problem to play “.ogg” files in apalis T30 and i have initiated a thread for that issue.
https://www.toradex.com/community/questions/25596/how-to-add-vlc-support-in-apalis-t30.html?sort=newest
In that Marcel pointed to use the “regular vorbisdec” to support the “.ogg” format.
Note: In the above mentioned thread i am not able to add comments that why creating new thread for the support. After writing comment once i am submitting, am not able to see the comments.
What exact hardware and software versions of things are you talking about?
How to install “regular vorbisdec” in apalis T30?
opkg update
opkg install gst-plugins-base-vorbis
You seem to refuse answering my previous question about what exact hardware and software versions of things you are talking about.
Anyway, it looks like you are having connectivity issues. Is your Apalis T30 properly connected to the Internet via gigabit Ethernet? Can you e.g. ping our feeds server?
root@apalis-t30:~# ping -c 4 feeds.toradex.com
Hi Marcel,
I have a setup which is having T30 SOM + Linux apalis-t30 3.1.10 + customized carrier board. My Apalis T30 board is connected to an Internet via gigabit Ethernet.

Looks like your network configuration is not proper. Assuming you are using our regular demo image what do the various connman commands as found here say? Also just the output of e.g. ip addr
may be useful. Plus as usual a full boot log plus journalctl
output.
Hi Marcel,
Please find the attached boot up and specific command out logs.link text
Unfortunately, your boot log seems to be rather incomplete neither showing any bootloader nor later user space output. Together with your general refusal to answer any of our versioning questions, this continues to leave us in the dark as to what exact versions of things you may be talking about.
Anyway, how exactly did you go about configuring that IP address of 192.168.0.100 which either is not routed to the Internet or your DNS configuration is not proper.
BTW: If connmanctl services
gives you a ethernet_00142d296127_cable
you would need to use that in any further connmanctl commands rather than blindly copying the one from our article as of course our test system had a different MAC address than yours.
Hi Marcel,
Please find the complete boot logs and specific command out put logs.

hi @deepak.singh
As @marcel.tx, your module does not seem to have internet connection. You can try also to ping www.google.com. This won’t work. So either you connect your module directly to a router/modem which has connection to Internet or you setup your network according to the instructions on this site.
Hi Jaski,
I have made the setup to download the regular vorbisdec. After executing the below command to play the “.ogg” file i am getting error
