Hi, hopefully the title says it all… I don’t see any specifications for wireless or Bluetooth for the iMX6 in the Apalis or Colibri families. Are the carrier boards that have it? If so, do they have Altium PCB layouts and schematics that I can use after development is done?

The Modules which feature Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are the following one:
- Apalis iMX8 QuadMax 4GB Wi-Fi / Bluetooth | V1.0A
- Colibri iMX6ULL 512MB Wi-Fi / Bluetooth IT | V1.0A
- Colibri iMX6ULL 512MB Wi-Fi / Bluetooth | V1.1A
the Colibri iMX6ULL 512MB Wi-Fi / Bluetooth IT | V1.0A can be ordered directly from our shop:
At the moment, none of the Toradex carrier boards is having onboard Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.

OK, thank you for the answers. I will need more than 512MB of RAM, so the iMX6ULL will not be a good fit. Do you know when the iMX8 QuadMax 4GB will be available in quantities?

The iMX8QM will be available in Q1 2019. If you need a module for evaluation, you can register for early access. We will contact you afterwards because you will have to sign an NDA. However the BSP is not Angström based yet this will be ready after public release.
If you prefer a lower end processor with Wifi, maybe also consider the Colibri iMX8X. It should be available in mid-April 2019:
It will have up to 2GB of RAM.
edit: Please note that if we do the public release, this doesn’t mean it is ready for volume production. When do you plan your start of production?
