Does iMX8 work with a later version of meta-openembedded?

The manifest file toradex-4.9.51-8qm_beta2_bring_up.xml specifies meta-openembedded version b40116cf457b88a2db14b86fda9627fb34d56ae6, which is dated 2017-03-29.

Has the iMX8 been successfully tested with later versions of meta-openembedded?

Reason: I want to include in my image recipe a package which does not appear in meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-support version b40116cf4, but does appear in version 352531015.

Unfortunately no, we currently have no working setup for rocko. You could try to copy the relevant recipe files into your morty installation.
