When r u releasing teh V1.6 Release version of image and BSP
Also Please give details of which version library to be used

we are confused.

The release of the V1.6 version is planned for March 2019.

There are no major changes planned from V1.6b4 to V1.6, so from a technical point of view you can start using V1.6b4.
We always recommend to use the latest version of the Toradex CE libraries, which is currently V2.3.

Are the issues below are solved in V1.6b4 Please clarify

  • 45294 - Disabling/Enabling etherent on powerup is not reliable
  • 43471 - Sometimes Colibri VF50/VF61 has no Ethernet connection under WinCE
  • 39796 - Include more code pages (What Code pages are included)

We are asking the question because tehre is no proper documentation available for V1.6b4 .

Also our question is wether we have to use release version or beta version of 2.3
What are solved in beta version.

The Status of the three issues you asked is Fixed, which means that the problem is solved in this version

The included code pages are listed in the file nlscpg.txt, which is part of the BSP:

Libraries

For the libraries we only document the stable release versions. The library beta versions contain short term fixes.
Our recommendation is to use only stable releases for production. If you find any problem during development, you can try to use the beta version for development.
