Permanently store TEZI in separate partition

Is it possible to permanently store Easy Installer in a separate partition and boot from that partition when required?

The idea is to be able to re-flash the module by instructing U-boot to boot from the tezi partition.

Thanks.

hi @iliaspat

Yeah, this is possible however it is not supported by our demo and Toradex Easy Installer images. In general, the demo images and Toradex Easy Installer images have a predefined partition scheme So you will need to create a custom OS Image and a customised Toradex Easy Installer Image.

The idea is to be able to re-flash the module by instructing U-boot to boot from the tezi partition.

To do this, we would recommend you to use SD boot or TFTP boot and then boot the Toradex Easy installer image. This would also save space on the module.

Do you have plans to make a how to build this custom Easy Installer Image?

I would also find it helpful to have a Easy Installer Image that could be started from SD or TFTP.
