Apalis i.MX6 on Ixora freeze ups with unusual message in dmesg

Have seen one of three Apalis i.MX6Q IT freeze mysteriously 2 times while running a Qt demo program (planets). The other two don’t ever do this. Kernel ring buffer has an unusual message:

[ 142.435387] mmc1: Switching to 3.3V signalling voltage failed
[ 176.902816] mmc2: Switching to 3.3V signalling voltage failed
[ 176.902821] mmc1: Switching to 3.3V signalling voltage failed

Which recurs fairly frequently on the unit. This seems to have never been reported so I am wondering if I have a problem with either the Ixora or the i.MX6 SOM?

Apalis i.MX6 IT Quad on Ixora carrier board
Kernel is console-tdx-image

The problem just stopped happening as suddenly as it started. I have never seen it on any other Apalis or Colibri.
