Typical Power Consumption Colibri VF61

Hello, please tell me the amount of current for the version of the board VF61 256B IT V1.2A in sleep mode.

With the SoC in LPSTOP2 (which is used to implement the Suspend-to-Memory sleep mode) and Memory in self-refresh we measured around 60mW power usage (using our Linux BSP).

Thanks for the answer. And using the Win CE 6.0, the power measured? And the second question: earlier I used the modules PXA320, they use the 15mW of power (in sleep mode). Possible to reduce the power consumption to the same value?

15 mW is not achievable, the main reason is that the larger amount of memory, and the new memory technology (DDR3) requires more power in self-refresh.

@luka.pivk, can you check regarding WinCE?

We did not do any WinCE specific measurements but I would assume is same or close to Linux. We also use LPSTOP2 so it cant be much higher.

we check regarding WinCE, and have 165mW. Can you help me to reduce power consumption, to a level 60mW? I used the latest version of Win CE 6.0 (Win CE ver. 1.3).

DId you disable ENET driver? There is a warning that you should disable it in debug output.

Yes, i disable ENET driver (This can be done by renaming enet.dll inside HKLM\Comm\2ENET to _enet.dll).

I will look into this, what is your timeline for product release?

Completion date of the project August 31. Now fully completed electronic circuits, display drivers, keyboard drivers, and power driver.

Hello, you looked at power consumption for Win CE 6.0?

Hello, if use the new version images, the energy consumption was reduced to 56mW.
