We have an ACA v 2.0B camera board and had to relocate it in our new hardware chassis. The cable length is now almost 35-40 cm in length. (started at near 50 cm). We consistently get a VSync problem, and sometimes the camera board is not recognized at boot. I’ve shortened the cable as much as I can It has to be roughly 35-40 cm. We have nowhere else to locate the camera. We installed the patch from the article" Analogue Camera Module ver. 2.0A with Apalis IMX6 - Vsync & Capture Artifacts [SOLVED]". This helped get rid of artifacts but did not fully solve the issue. We are 50%-50% hit/miss on boot up to be able to sync. At the shorter length, most all the time the board is at least recognized.
HOW can we address this issue? If cable capacitance is an issue, what do we need t do to get this to work properly at 35cm length.
This is the IDC ribbon cable we are using:

We are in a desperate situation as we cannot redesign the system cannot move the board closer, and have dropped resolutions shared previously. We are now hitting a shipment penalty so time is absolutely of the essence.
There is a comment in your above above mentioned response about changing a resistor. Please share more details. Apalis imx6, ACA 2.0B board, running Yocto Linux, with direct analog camera input.
Please suggest solutions. Is there any possibility a different video RGB adapter can help?
Thanks,
