Apalis iMX6 doesn't boot

The board switch on and switch on fixed the three leds LED1, LED4, LED5. No messages on the serial console. I’ve tried the recovery procedure but no USB device detected from the host computer. How can I try again? How can I understand if it’s broken the carrier board or the module?

Could you provide more details. please?

  • was it working before?

  • How did you connect serial console?

  • Did you follow recovery steps exactly as descried here -iMX Recovery Mode | Toradex Developer Center? And have you removed JP2?

  • What OS do you have on your host machine?

Yes before was working fine,

On X22 at 115200 baud rate, I’ve used it before and it worked.

Yes I follow the recovery steps and removed jp22 but nothing works.

On my host machine I have Windows 10.

How did you enter in the recovery mode?

Did you try to use a different module or carrier board?

On my host machine I have Windows 10.

Are you connecting the carrier board directly to the host or are you using any USB Hub?
You should connect the carrier board directly to the host and if possible also try a different host.

I have ordered a new module to try.

Connecting directly to the host. I’ve tried also with Ubuntu but nothing works.

Then, you should wait till you got the module and try to put the new module in recovery mode.

I won’t put the new module in revocery mode. I bought also the carrier board so I use the new module as a backup system. The old system SoM+Carrier hoping to fix the problem with RMA.

The recovery is needed to flash a new Image on the module, if you use Toradex Easy Installer.

Regarding RMA, we will accept the RMA.
