Thank you for contacting the Toradex community!.
Tegra Recovery mode works through USB, the image will be downloaded from Development PC to Tegra processor. Hence you must execute those commands on the Linux Development machine. We might test with the ubuntu Linux machine.
If you have any Windows machine, we are highly recommending you to follow this flashing procedure : https://developer.toradex.com/knowledge-base/txx-recovery-mode#Flashing_OS_image_on_Colibri_Txx_module. This is very stable machanism for flashing WinCE image on the Tegra.
