Hello @signo_ri,

Thank you for your post in the community!

You can clear the log journal by following the instructions here: Managing Journal Size - The Ultimate Guide To Logging

Could you please tell us more about the issue? How long have you been using this board? And this error appears randomly? Can you please also share the dmesg log?

Best Regards,
Janani

Hello Janani,

I am working with Roberto who wrote the original post.
I actually submitted the question on stackoverflow with wider logs and some more details:
https://serverfault.com/questions/1065947/network-connectivity-problems-on-angstrom-linux

The problem seems to appear randomly. We have 6 boards under test at the moment for a new system we are developing and the problem has already occurred on 3 of them in the last week.
We are not doing any network intensive of CPU intensive operation: we are acquiring data with a 200Hz sampling rate, which can be downloaded via TCP.
Thanks

Mario

dmesg logs don’t seem to provide any more information than journalctl:

Hello @mnicolas , @signo_ri ,

One option here would be to check with the BSP 2.8 to check if the problem still exists. That is our supported LTS BSP. When this problem still occurs, there could be a possibility that the there is a problem with the Hardware.

Please let us know how this works at your end.

Best Regards,
Janani

Hello @saijanani.tx,

is there any known issue with the version of Linux we are using?
Changing all our environment is not that easy at this stage of the project. The problem hasn’t occurred for the last few days so I have not been able to investigate any further.
Regards,

Mario

Hello @mnicolas ,

The BSP that you have is an intermediate release. That’s why for better feature/ to let you know about known bugs or errata, it lI advisable to upgrade to a newer BSP. Our advice is to kindly upgrade to either to Bsp 2.7b4 or 2.8b7.

Best Regards,
Janani
