from which directory are you launching bitbake?

The cause of this error message is most probably running a Git command outside of a directory in which a Git folder is initialized. For instance, if you try to run “git commit” in a non-Git folder, you see an error. Git cannot run unless you view a folder configured with Git.

Ive been running Bitbake from the right directory, the build directory. I source the Toradex export and all the other steps. Ive put together the following patch to avoid the errors I’ve posted above. It seems one of the commit your recipe references has gone missing or something.

There was a corrupt source package on our source mirror server which meanwhile should be mitigated.
