SMARC Family
Toradex Quality for the SMARC Ecosystem
The Toradex SMARC Family brings the trusted well-known Toradex quality, reliability, and ease-of-use to the SMARC (Smart Mobility Architecture) standard. Toradex SMARC reduces the total cost and project risks by reducing the development and maintenance efforts for software and hardware, all while leveraging the existing SMARC ecosystem you are familiar with.
Why Toradex SMARC
Migrate To Toradex SMARC
Do you already have a SMARC Module and want to leverage Toradex's unique offerings to lower your total cost of ownership and obtain better supply security? The Toradex SMARC family maximizes compatibility with a wide range of other SMARC providers, making it quick and easy to migrate your project to Toradex’s SMARC!
Typical Migration Effort
From the same SoC
2 weeks
From other ARM SoC
4 weeks
From x86 SoC
8 weeks

Let us review your current carrier board and software, and we’ll show you how easy it is to migrate to Toradex SMARC.
Is SMARC For Me?
Being a standard designed to accommodate a wide range of ARM and X86 Systems-on-Chip, SMARC made tradeoffs to prioritize broad compatibility over cost, size, and performance. If the wide compatibility and the second source are not the top priority, our other families are typically the better product fit.
