GUI Technology with Qt
The 10.3-inch display with Toradex Verdin SoM features the Qt framework to develop the UI. Toradex collaborates closely with The Qt Company, providing probably the best development experience in the industry, enabling Emtron to get the highest performance and a faster development time.
Resistant Module
Toradex's Verdin family was a perfect fit for the challenging motorsport environment to withstand constant vibrations and wide temperature variations.

Switching to Toradex SoMs reinvigorated our project and saved us an estimated 6 months of development time. The flexibility of the Verdin SOM and the Linux-based operating system has unexpectedly, but excitingly, opened up new markets and product possibilities for our company.

Toradex’s Verdin SOM is unbelievably powerful and proving to be far superior to competitive products that we were initially using for this project.

With bad experiences with other hardware available on the market, Emtron was looking for powerful hardware, which has the capability to handle the application and process data with minimum impact. And there is where the Toradex Verdin family shines.


The Verdin SoM surprisingly operates at 6% CPU under normal conditions compared to competitive products that were struggling at 95% CPU utilization under similar conditions.
