Viola Carrier Board
The Viola Carrier Board is targeted at cost sensitive applications which require a small form factor. Measuring just 74 mm x 74 mm, Viola is one of the smallest, lowest cost Single Board Computer (SBC) equivalent solutions on the market. Standard interfaces provided by the Colibri modules are supported by the Viola carrier board using a combination of real-world connectors, card slots and 2.54 mm pitch pin headers. Communication interfaces include USB 2.0 host and 100 Mbit Fast Ethernet. Support for common industrial interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART and GPIO makes the Viola carrier board perfectly suited for industrial and embedded applications.

Das Viola Carrier Board ist mit der Colibri Arm Modulfamilie kompatibel. Es ist auf kostengünstige Anwendungen ausgelegt, welche einen kleinen Formfaktor erfordern. Mit gerade einmal 74 mm x 74mm ist das Viola Carrier Board eines der kleinsten und günstigsten Single Board Computer (SBC) auf dem Markt. Mit einem ähnlichen Funktionsumfang wie Raspberry Pi und BeagleBoard ist Viola speziell auf den Embedded- und Industrie-Bereich mit langer Lebensdauer, langfristiger Verfügbarkeit und langfristigem Support ausgelegt. Das Viola Carrier Board ist ideal für die kostengünstige Serienproduktion von Embedded Geräten. Dieses Carrier Board ist nicht für Test- oder Evaluationszwecke mit Colibri Modulen gedacht. Hierfür eignet sich das Colibri Evaluation Board oder das Iris Carrier Board besser. Das Carrier Board wurde für die Verwendung mit den Colibri iMX8X (basierend auf NXP® i.MX 8X SoC), Colibri iMX6 (basierend auf NXP®/Freescale i.MX 6 SoCs), Colibri T20 und T30 (basierend auf NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2/Tegra™ 3 SoCs) und Colibri VF50 und VF61 (basierend auf NXP®/Freescale Vybrid™ VF50 und VF61 SoCs) Computer-on-Modules entwickelt.
Standard-Schnittstellen der Colibri-Module werden vom Viola carrier board mittels Physical Connectors, Card Slots und 2.54 mm Pitch-Pin-Headers unterstützt.
Kommunikations-Schnittstellen umfassen USB 2.0 Host und 100 Mbit Fast Ethernet. Dank Unterstützung gängiger industrieller Schnittstellen wie I2C, SPI, UART und GPIO ist das Viola Carrier Board perfekt für industrielle und Embedded-Anwendungen geeignet. Unterstützung für LCD Panels und Touch-Schnittstellen wird durch das Unified Interface Display bereitgestellt.
Zubehör
Toradex bietet standardmäßig Zubehör an, das direkt in Endprodukten verwendet werden kann. Für einige dieser Zubehörteile sind Konstruktionsdateien mit Montagezeichnungen, Schaltplänen und Altium-Projekten verfügbar.
Toradex testet die in seinem Webshop aufgeführten Peripheriegeräte und arbeitet direkt mit Anbietern von Kameras, Modems, Displays, Sensoren und mehr zusammen, um die Integration mit Toradex SoMs so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten.
