Joint webinar: Qt for Device Creation on Toradex Modules

In this joint webinar ‘Qt for Device Creation on Toradex Modules’ from Toradex and The Qt Company, the attendees learnt how to leverage the latest Qt to create beautiful cross-platform programs. Based on native C++, Qt allows for maximum performance on embedded devices. Qt takes full advantages of powerful GPUs (e.g. NVIDIA® Tegra®, NXP®/Freescale i.MX 6), but also has solutions for SoC without a GPU (e.g. NXP®/Freescale Vybrid), to deliver a beautiful modern User Interface.

During the course of the webinar, attendees received an insider’s perspective at the Full Qt Enterprise libraries, which provide a shortcut on development time by providing ready-made solutions, such as a comprehensive virtual keyboard, charting and industrial UI controls. The attendees also experienced the easy out of the box solution when combining Qt with Toradex HW.

The notable differences between the community license and the available commercial licenses were also discussed during the webinar. The webinar was held during two different timeslots in the day to cater to the convenience of our global audience.
