Nürnberg, Germany – February 26, 2014 – Toradex is glad to announce its partnership with two key PLC software manufacturers, reducing development time and making it much easier to develop a PLC application on Toradex ARM® computer-on-modules. Toradex has teamed up with Codesys and KW-Software, of Germany, to adapt their PLC software to Toradex modules. This will enable users to buy a Toradex computer module, purchase the software from either of the two partners, and then immediately start working on developing their application, thereby eliminating the process of having to make the software work with some other non-Toradex hardware. The PLC solutions are currently available on Colibri T20, a module which is also available in industrial temperature (-40°C to +85°C) version, and will soon be supported on other Toradex computer modules.
