New Release: Windows CE 6.0, Windows Embedded Compact 7 & Windows Embedded Compact 2013 V1.0 beta7 Release for Toradex Vybrid Modules

We are pleased to announce the Windows CE 6.0, Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Windows Embedded Compact 2013, V1.0 beta7 release for our Colibri Vybrid modules: Colibri VF61 and Colibri VF50.

The notable updates in this release are:

• USB client support: This will allow customers to use ActiveSync for application debugging (CE6 R3 and Windows Embedded Compact 2013, ActiveSync is not supported by the OS on Windows Embedded Compact 2013)

• Touch screen support on VF61: Touch screen was already supported on VF50, now it’s supported on both the modules

• RTCSync: Support for external RTCs, like in other Colibri OS Images

• Autorun: Supported in Windows Embedded Compact 2013 (was already supported in previous versions)

• New notepad and registry editor: Improved UI and support also on Windows Embedded Compact 2013
