Yavia is a compact carrier board providing easy access to the most common features of the Verdin family. The intended use of the carrier board is application software development. The board is compatible with all current and future Verdin SoMs.
Yavia has been designed by our partner Linear Computing to ease up the challenging supply chain situation constraining the availability of our traditional Verdin development carrier boards.
Be it USB 3.x, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, MIPI CSI or PCIe: the Yavia has them. Built-in UART to USB transceivers allow you to monitor and communicate with UART interfaces via USB - in a simple and convenient way, without any additional cables and accessories.
You can further extend the capabilities of the carrier board with daughter boards (via the extension connectors).
Torizon, the easy-to-use industrial Linux platform, offers tight integration with development tools such as Visual Studio Code to further simplify software development. As Toradex provides production-ready software, JTAG is typically not required, however, if you’d like to have a closer look or perform some advanced programming on the integrated Cortex-M microcontrollers of the i.MX 8M series of applications processors, it’s nice to have the option. For this purpose, Yavia features a standard debug connector for supporting debugging via JTAG.
PDF schematics and Bill of Materials (BOMs) are freely available for download from our developer website.
Toradex 提供可直接用于最终产品的现成配件。 对于少数配件，可以提供设计文件，包括装配图、原理图和Altium项目。
