Thanks to you we could give back to the community via donations to Red Cross (USD 4282), UNICEF (USD 3298), and The Nature Conservancy (USD 2420).
Toradex – a world leading provider of embedded computing solutions based on ARM® CPUs – today announced that its products, the Colibri T20 and Iris carrier board will be used at a laboratory-work class, of associate professor Nakano, in Keio University's Department of Science and Technology, Japan.
Fuelled by the cause to lend a ear, and a helping hand to the unheard cries, of the underprivileged children, Toradex employees recently got out their bikes and put their best cycling foot forward to participate in the rally, for “Vote for Child Rights” organised by Child Rights and You (CRY).
At Toradex, we sincerely believe in a future where people in every remote part of the world hold the power to make better opportunities for themselves. We took a small step towards this movement by supporting Dariu in empowering and helping the disadvantaged families to lift themselves out of poverty and create a better living.
In March 2013, our office in India was able to hand over a donation of 70,000 rupees to the Indian Red Cross Society to celebrate the charities 150th anniversary.
Thank you very much to our Customers! We are pleased to inform you that your generous donations, which were collected by Toradex during Embedded World 2012 in support of the German and Swiss Red Cross, sum up to 21’000 Euros. Toradex representatives handed over this money to the Swiss Red Cross in Bern on March 12th. Half of this sum will transferred by the Swiss Red Cross the German Red Cross.
Three members of the Toradex team visited Child Rights and You (CRY) on the 16th August to deliver a cheque for 100’000 INR. This was the total of all the generous donations received during ESC Bangalore 2012.
