Colibri Arm Family

Apalis IconThe Colibri Arm® family consists of SODIMM sized System on Module (SoM) / Computer on Module (CoM). The family offers miniaturized modules based on NXP® i.MX 8, i.MX 6ULL, i.MX 7, i.MX 6, Vybrid and NVIDIA® Tegra SoCs. All these modules are pin-compatible, and thus ensure scalability of the applications developed on them. The Colibri family delivers cost-performance optimized designs. An extensive range of Colibri compatible carrier boards and accessories, such as camera and displays, are also available for easy product development based on the Colibri Arm family modules.

Colibri Family - System on Modules

A Linux-based software platform that simplifies the process of developing and maintaining embedded software. Torizon allows you to focus on application development instead of Linux builds.
Toradex's embedded Linux BSPs are based on Ångström/ OpenEmbedded being fully Yocto project compatible. Many peripherals are also supported out-of-the-box.
Toradex provides free pre-built images for Windows Embedded Compact (CE5 to WEC2013). The Run-time license is included in the price of the module. BSPs and workspaces are available for download on our developer website at no cost.
Toradex offers an extensive ecosystem including partners that offers various services such as Qt, PLC, OTA, security, etc. and carrier board design resources such as tools, design files, and many more.
Software Libraries
Toradex provides free software libraries for additional features including Camera Interface, SPI, PWM,I2C, CAN and cloud connectivity. A full tool-chain for bootloader and operating system updates are also available for download.

All benchmarks were conducted under Toradex’s Linux BSP with all compiler optimizations available for the architecture. Dynamic frequency and voltage switching were disabled. All numbers are relative to the performance of a Colibri iMX6Solo.
