Colibri ARM Family

ColibriThe Colibri ARM Family consists of SODIMM sized Computer on Modules. The family offers miniaturized modules based on NVIDIA® Tegra, NXP®/Freescale Vybrid™, NXP®/Freescale i.MX 6, NXP®/Freescale i.MX 7 and Marvell® PXA™ SoCs. All these modules are pin-compatible, and thus ensures scalability of the application developed on them. The Colibri family delivers cost-performance optimized designs. An extensive range of Colibri compatible Carrier Boards and Accessories, such as LVDS Converters and Displays,are also available for easy product development based on Colibri ARM Family modules. Windows Embedded Compact, Embedded Linux and Android support is available for these modules.

The Toradex bootloaders and Board Support Packages (BSPs) are designed to be very configurable. This relieves the application-developer from the burden of creating a custom image. Instead, the necessary adaptations can be made by configuring settings and adding files to the flash file system. Our standard images and BSPs are all at production quality grade.
Windows Embedded Compact
Toradex provides free pre-built images for Windows Embedded Compact (CE5 to WEC2013). The Run-time license is included in the price of the module. BSPs and workspaces are available for download on our developer website at no cost.
The Linux BSPs for Colibri are based on the Open Embedded Build Framework and include driver support for all integrated peripherals. The BSPs are available for download at no cost.
Software Libraries and Tools
Toradex provides free software libraries for additional features including Camera Interface, SPI, PWM,I2C, CAN and cloud connectivity. A full tool-chain for bootloader and operating system updates are also available for download.
