Webinar:
Introduction to the Apalis TK1 with NVIDIA® Tegra® K1 SoC

Date: July 13, 2016

The new Apalis TK1 is Toradex’s most powerful System on Module / Computer on Module yet. Its capable NVIDIA Kepler GPU not only delivers stunning graphics in 4K, but it also provides an ideal platform to accelerate numerous applications like Machine Vision or Deep Learning. In many cases, it will be possible to replace an FPGA or DSP or create completely new features using this GPU. In this webinar recording, you will learn about the new System on Module and how it can transform your application. We demonstrate the out-of-the-box experience of using this module and show you demos from Toradex and its partners. Linux will be used as the operating system. We show you the open source nouveau driver and the NVIDIA graphic driver.

Key takeaways from this webinar:

  • Understand the basic architecture of the NVIDIA TK1 SoC and the Apalis module
  • Learn about the capabilities of Apalis TK1 and how it can improve your use case
