Toradex DSI Display Adapter
The Toradex DSI Display Adapter provides an easy-to-use solution for connecting and driving MIPI® DSI displays through the board-to-board DSI connector of compatible carrier boards. The DSI Display Adapter implements Toradex’s Simple DSI Connector that directly connects to compatible displays and provides the user with a quad-Lane DSI interface, an I2C bus for touch controller and various other ICs, a PWM signal for backlight brightness control, and various power rails (1.8V, 3.3V, 5V) for powering the display and associated ICs (e.g. touch controller, backlight driver, converter ICs, etc.) in a power envelope of up to 10W. The product is compatible with both 1.8V and 3.3V IO voltage levels.

Note: The product does not feature a backlight driver. The backlight driver is expected be integrated into the display assembly.
Carrier Boards
The carrier board provides the necessary signal and power levels to the CoM. It also houses the application-specific connectivity and multimedia interfaces, such as USB, Ethernet, UART and HDMI.
