We are pleased to announce the release of Embedded Linux® Yocto Project BSP 3.0.4 LTS for Toradex's i.MX and Tegra K1 based modules.

Key features/bug fixes in this release include:

  • Migrated to downstream NXP® BSP 4.14.98_2.3.1 for all i.MX based modules
  • Integrated System Control Unit Firmware (SCFW) 1.3.1 for all i.MX 8/8X based modules
  • Integrated Backports 5.4 for PCIe, SDIO and USB Wi-Fi based modules and LM816
  • Modularized Verdin Device Tree
  • Basic Dahlia V1.0B support
  • Support for Apalis iMX8 V1.1A
  • Deployed more Iris device trees
  • Verdin iMX8M Mini V1.0B feature complete (e.g. full bring-up completed)
  • Fixed video playback using G2D Weston compositor on i.MX 8/8X
  • Fixed 9-bit SPI transmission
  • Colibri iMX7 eMMC speed improvement
  • Verdin iMX8M Mini LVDS support (default is HDMI, requires custom device tree)
