The Toradex team have been at ESC Bengaluru, India this week (18-20 July 2012). We have been showing our Colibri T30, our Colibri T20 dual display with Linux and Windows EC7 along with our new evaluation board and Instant Boot Demo.
Toradex have released version 0.1 beta10 of the Colibri Tegra Windows CE 6 and Windows Embedded Compact 7 image and BSP.
We are pleased to announce the release of version V2.0 Alpha 1 of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP. This contains: U-Boot 2011.06 boot loader, Linux 3.1.10 kernel, based on NVIDIA’s Linux for Tegra release 15, OpenEmbedded oe-core 2012.05 based root file system, using LXDE desktop environment.
Toradex has announced the release of the Colibri Evaluation Board (V3.1A) – a flexible development environment for evaluating the functionality and performance of the entire Colibri computer on module product family.
Toradex have announced that their Colibri T30 ARM Computer on Module, based on the NVIDIA® Tegra™ 3, will be available in sample quantities before the end of Q4 2012. The module will ship with the Linux-based L4TBSP.

The Toradex Colibri Camera Interface for Windows CE uses the Directshow multimedia framework to easily integrate a video camera into an application running on the Colibri T20 ARM Computer on Module. Directshow filters for encoding are supported.

NVIDIA® have recently added the Technical Reference Manual for the Tegra™ 3 processor to their developer website. This is the processor used by the Colibri T30 Computer on Module product from Toradex (available in sample quantities from the end of this quarter).
We are pleased to announce version V1.1 production release of the Colibri T20 Linux BSP for our Colibri T20 NVIDIA Tegra 2-based ARM computer on module family.No issues were found during our internal testing or reported by customers with version V1.1 Beta 2.
We have added two new libraries for Windows CE in support of our Colibri PXA and T20 Computer on Module families. SPIDMALib provides for communication through the on-chip SPI interfaces at speeds of up to 26Mhz for the PXA and up to 54Mhz for the T20 with DMA support for bi-directional data transfer.
On the 5thNovember, several engineers from our India office attended the ARM Symposium 2012 in Bangalore. They showcased our Colibri family of computer on module products, and gave many visitors an overview of Toradex as a key provider of embedded ARM computer modules.
Toradex has announced that the binary versions of it’s Windows CE Libraries for their Colibri PXAxxx & T20 Computer on Module families are now available free of charge.
On November 8th, we have been present at the Bits and Chips Embedded Systems event in the Netherlands. Toradex was hosted in the booth of one of our customers – Intemo.
