No.1 Classic & Scrambler motorcycles were the culmination of RGNT's success, and Toradex is a proud part of that. Through a collaborative effort with Toradex, RGNT was able to fulfill their requirements and develop its logging and HMI system, bringing its vision of excellence to fruition. The Apalis iMX6 easily integrated communication and display UI processing, while the Ixora Carrier Board and on-demand support enabled efficient development. With the aid of Toradex's BSP layers, documentation, and design guides, RGNT achieved fast results, with full functionality attained within weeks.

Powerful CPU and GPU

The Apalis iMX6Q is a cost-effective solution that provides a powerful CPU to handle data processing and a dedicated GPU to manage display operations.

CAN Bus and ECUs

The RGNT motorcycles required CAN bus protocol support to integrate the ECUs. With Toradex Apalis iMX6Q, the cluster could seamlessly exchange data with the other ECUs.

IoT Connectivity

RGNT managed to use the Apalis iMX6Q Bluetooth and successfully integrated 4G modules to allow Internet connection and cloud connectivity under any circumstance.


Toradex offerings allowed us to accelerate our development process, everything worked fine since the beginning. With Toradex's documentation and support, we were able to develop our own Linux distribution based on Toradex BSP layers and integrate it in just a few weeks. We utilized the Ixora Carrier Board and carrier board design tools to redesign and validate our electronic project in under two months.

  • Choosing the Ideal Hardware Solution

    RGNT required a hardware solution that could provide support for IoT, CAN bus protocol, and resources to handle the bike's logging and cluster display. The optimal choice was Toradex's Apalis iMX6, which seamlessly integrated a touchscreen display for the cluster, Bluetooth for wireless communication and CAN Bus to connect the ECUs. In addition, a 4G module was successfully integrated to provide IoT functionality and cloud access.
